Browning Compound Bow

Browning Compound Bow
I have an older Browning compound bow is a stick on arrow rest, how can I change to a solid adjustable.?

How do I know where to drill, and I have to put an insert or uses a thread tap for the rest of the arrow?

Most bows, even more age had a threaded hole in the elevator specifically for this purpose. If yours does not I suggest you take an archery shop and see if they are willing to help. I have 3 compounds and the three are positioned differently. If you have to do it yourself I would suggest about 1 / 2 inch above the platform and a little more back then center of the elevator. Most holes are threaded, but you can buy attachments that were originally wooden arches and possibly paste it into a hole over the size. Hope this helps!
